Mideast (India) Limited is a Company limited by shares incorporated under the provisions of Companies Act, 1956 on 28th July, 1977 as Mideast Shipping Company (India) Limited to carry and undertake all activities related to business of shipping in India.

The name of the Company Mideast Shipping Company (India) Limited got changed to Mideast (India) Limited in 23th March, 1990. The registered office of the Company is situated at D-12, Neb Sarai, Freedom Fighters Enclave, New Delhi-110068.

Mideast (India) Limited came out with IPO on 10th May, 1993 and is presently listed on Bombay Stock Exchange, Ahmedabad Stock Exchange, Calcutta Stock Exchange and Madras Stock Exchange.
